Middle Tennessee public school districts schedule fall breaks in October, though specific dates and lengths vary from district to district.
“Fall break holds immense value for both students and educators,” JC Bowman, executive director of the Professional Educators of Tennessee, said. “While the benefit may vary based on subject and grade, this pause serves as a crucial retreat for students to recharge, alleviate stress and regain their academic momentum. It’s an opportunity for educators to catch up, reflect, and return invigorated to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.”
